History & Introduction

Cityside Schools was founded in 1990. It first started with the nursery and primary schools. The Secondary school started in 2006. It is located in a very serene environment in Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria, West Africa.

The schools have facilities that ensure pupils are not only comfortable but also focused.

The facilities include:

  • Well-equipped Computer laboratory with internet facilities

  • 40 KVA Stand-by generator to power school services throughout the day

The Founders

About the Founders

Chief and Chief (Mrs) Paddy Arikawe were both graduates of the University of Lagos, Nigeria, West Africa. While Chief Paddy Arikawe majored in education administration, Chief (Mrs) Elizabeth Arikawe majored in guidance and counselling. They have both been the main prop and strength of this ever-progressive institution.

Chief (Mrs) Elizabeth Arikawe is the proprietress who carries out the main day to day administration of the school while Chief Paddy Arikawe stands as the catalyst to get things going. They are both doing what they know how to do best just as Chief Paddy Arikawe brought Mayflower Junior School Ikenne, Ogun State, Nigeria, West Africa into limelight, Chief (Mrs) Elizabeth Arikawe too was a versatile teacher; Vice Principal; and Principal of reputable schools in Ogun State for over twenty years and her maxim is “every child is your child”. Indeed, you need to send your wards to Cityside Schools to enjoy the educational juice being produced by these two personalities.
